Reidster the speedster

The intensive driving lessons that I have been conducting with The Reidster are paying off. Last week, we practiced going forward, backwards, and sideways. This week we have been practicing proper race car driver technique. So far, here are the results...

First of all he has learned the fine art of looking to his left for adoring fans.

He is working on following closely so he can intimidate his competitors, in the case- his older sister who seems blissfully unaware of Speed Racer on her tail and not too intimidated actually.
He has mastered the skill of making silly faces while attempting to pass.
Most importantly, he has complete control of the art of coolness. This we did not have to practice, he just gets it naturally.

Next week's guest speaker, Mr. James Dean, who was to lecture on the fine art of driving really fast will be unable to attend. Our backup speaker, Mr. Steve McQueen, whose seminar on the safe use of flame retardant had to cancel as well.
